Glutathione

Your body's main antioxidant, made in every cell. Levels fall with age, stress, alcohol and short nights; a prescription injection or nasal spray may help bring them back up.

Important safety information
What is it?

A small molecule made from three amino acids that your body produces in every cell, most of all in the liver. It's the first line of defense against oxidative stress and part of how the liver clears what the body doesn't need. Faber's glutathione is compounded by a U.S. state-licensed pharmacy for your individual prescription. It is not FDA-approved.

How do I take it?

Two ways. Injection: a small dose under the skin, usually one to three times a week. Nasal spray: a daily spray, no needle. Either way it skips digestion, which is the point: swallowed glutathione is mostly broken down before it reaches your blood. You pick in the questionnaire and your clinician sets the schedule.

What does it cost?

[$G] per month, including clinician review, the medication and shipping. No insurance needed.

What glutathione may help with

01

Oxidative stress

Training, alcohol, pollution and poor sleep all produce it. Glutathione is what your cells use to neutralize it, and it recharges other antioxidants like vitamins C and E along the way.

02

What your liver clears

Glutathione binds to compounds the liver wants out and makes them water-soluble so the kidneys can flush them. More glutathione may help that system keep pace.

03

Recovery, over weeks not days

Where people notice something, it's gradual: steadier energy and better recovery after a few weeks of consistent use. Not an acute effect.

Two ways

Same molecule, two formats. You pick in the questionnaire, your clinician confirms.

Injection Glutathione vial

The injection.

One to three times a week, under the skin. The most glutathione per dose.

Nasal spray Glutathione nasal spray

The spray.

Once a day, no needle. Absorbed through the lining of the nose.

Questions

What does the research say?

Glutathione's role as your body's main antioxidant is settled science, and injections and sprays are well documented to raise levels. Large clinical trials on day-to-day benefits in healthy adults are still to come, and responses are individual: some people report steadier energy, better recovery or a change in skin tone after a few weeks of consistent use. Your clinician sets your protocol and adjusts it with you based on how you respond.

Injection or spray?

The injection puts the most glutathione into your system per dose, one to three times a week. The spray is daily and needle-free. Same molecule; your clinician helps you pick based on your goal and how you feel about needles.

Will it brighten my skin?

Glutathione is involved in the pathway that produces melanin, which is why the claim exists, and some people report a more even skin tone after weeks of use. Responses vary and the evidence for it is early, so think of it as a possible bonus rather than the reason to start. If skin is your main goal, the Skin protocol is built for that.

How is this different from an IV drip?

Same molecule. An IV session takes hours in a clinic and often costs several hundred dollars a visit. A prescription injection or spray at home takes a minute and costs a fraction of that per month.

Why is it more expensive than some offers online?

Because a vial from an unverified source is the one thing to avoid with this product. The FDA has flagged contamination in poorly made compounded glutathione. Faber's comes from a U.S. state-licensed pharmacy with regular independent batch testing, and the price includes your clinician's review and ongoing supervision.

What happens if I stop?

Levels return toward your natural baseline over days to weeks. No rebound, no withdrawal. You can stop and restart freely, and your clinician can help you judge whether it's earning its place in your routine.

Important safety information

Glutathione is a compounded medication and is not FDA-approved. Use only the dose and schedule your clinician sets. Common side effects of the injection include soreness or redness at the injection site, mild stomach upset, and a temporary sulfur-like smell, which comes from the cysteine in the molecule and is harmless. With the nasal spray, some people notice a brief sting or a runny nose. Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding or have an active cancer diagnosis, as antioxidant supplementation can interfere with some cancer treatments. Tell your clinician if you have asthma, since glutathione has irritated airways in some sensitive people, and about all medications and supplements you take. Store refrigerated and do not freeze. This is not a complete list; your clinician will review risks with you.
